Meet Colby, teacher author of Special Inspirations® and Founder of Inspired Steps Tutoring.

 

Colby has been an Associate Member of the Orton-Gillingham Academy since 2014. She has also completed Certified Level OGA Coursework and practicum observations in 2016 which endorses her to work with more complex dyslexia profiles as well as a broader age range of students. Her experience consists of classroom teacher for students with dyslexia at OGA accredited schools as well as small group and 1:1 dyslexia tutorial at a private practice in South Carolina. Her varied experience allows her to use her skills to develop prescriptive lesson plans for her students. 

 

Beginning her own private practice, InspiredSteps Tutoring, in 2025 has brought her so much joy to be able to provide dyslexia support to students in area private schools.
